Thank You For Breathing Life Into Me
God,
When those closest to my side keep throwing stones at my spine for following your shine and honoring your lifeline, I listen closely for your signs and feel refined, body and mind. They want me two steps behind, stifled and confined, resigned from your truth, and to fall in line. In their eyes, I have too much pride. Refusing to remain supine, I am penalized for appearing unperturbed by lies and words that cut like knives. Crucified for not committing the Soul crime of denying your wisdom from way up high. Are they hurting inside?

Your voice silences the cries and mutes the whines. Indemnifies the insults hurled by design. With each stride, the pain subsides for your Light overrides the darkness petrified of me connecting to you on my own time.

I am no greater than them. I have sinned and will sin again. Speaking your name does not immune freewill from offense. We cant pretend the scars on our hearts automatically descend without acknowledgement and repent. On this journey without end, seeking your forgiveness makes amends. When I fail with my attempts, your compassion exempts the feelings of unworthiness and contempt.

Cant we see? Darkness exists to spite thee. Self-ascendency wannabes, bred out of jealousy, taking for granted your loyalty. Paying off humanity to claim their sanity, disrupting peace and integrity intentionally.

No need to retreat, hand in hand, we are equipped to defeat the diabolical conceit who suppress, cheat and mistreat. This is no easy feat, we have purpose to complete. Your love is not discrete, giving strength to our heartbeats, even when we sleep. In the face of deceit, your Angels fortify and foresee, without skipping a beat.

I went to the sea to be set free, and there you found me, discovering who I am meant to be. Lifting my spirit profoundly, you heard my worries loudly and answered them soundly. With noise all around me, your Angels ground me. In the ocean breeze, I feel your gaze upon me, and smile with gratitude and glee.
