Letter to God✨

God,
Do you mind if I write you a letter? Talking to you sure makes me feel better. I know you see all that I do, but this helps me feel close to you.

For all the times I wandered far and wide, thank you for staying by my side, keeping my spirit alive. You give so freely from the heart, even to those who criticize you from the start.

I once feared sharing your name for the judgements and labels of others left me to feel shamed. Unnerved from the delusion about why your supposed intrusion appears to neglect and fail desired conclusions. Prompting confusion, creating isolation and seclusion. But I recognize the hurt and pain, I once felt the same, disconnected, reacting from that place of abstain. To be without you is to feel lamed.

Realizing this is no religious taboo, the influence of man could never keep me from you. Rain or shine, your presence is Divine, the most inexhaustible and reliable lifeline. I know you are not to blame for the actions of those who act inhumane, weaponizing your name to justify egocentric acclaim, with intentions to sway others astray from the source of Light that paves the way.

I closed my eyes to see my Soul and the vision of you appeared, healing my many fears. The doom and gloom no longer looms now that I removed the substances and foods that put a barrier between me and you. Gone are the days of covering and concealing the most natural part of my being.

With you I feel seen, unafraid of the real me, highlighting all the places where the Light gleams. Remembering the ways you show my heart how to be, listening and laughing for eternity. In moments of heartache and disbelief, I feel your Angels comfort me. Helping to foresee the mission of this life and how to shape our destiny.

I didn’t have to find me to find you. No need for searching or exploring, your compassion put an end to my conforming, I can breathe without performing, resurrecting freedom each coming morning.

Thank you for anchoring the Light here and above with your unconditional love. When life is loud, I long for your sound and in the gentle breeze I feel you next to me.

So here I sit, on the ground I pray, looking up to the Heavens, what are you up to today?
